Wedge cast valves are designed for installation on pipelines as a shut-off device. The valve body parts are made of steel grades: 35L, 20GL, 12X18N9TL, with flange connection, with manual control (with flywheel, mechanical gearbox) or electric drive.
Forged wedge gate valves are designed to be installed as shut-off devices on main and process pipelines transporting liquid and gaseous working media, including explosive, neutral with respect to the main parts, during the extraction and processing of oil and gas, in fire extinguishing systems, circulating water supply and heat supply, as well as in fuel and energy complex systems.
Die-welded wedge gate valves are used as shut-off devices on pipelines transporting water, steam, air, and natural gas.
Connection to the pipeline is flanged, for welding.
The installation position on the pipeline is any, except with the electric drive down.
Shutter control: flywheel, gearbox, electric drive.
Wedge gate valves according to API standard are intended for use as shut-off valves - for blocking the flow of gaseous or liquid media in pipelines of various pressures and diameters. The valves are made with a retractable spindle and have a locking element moving in a plane perpendicular to the direction of the medium flow. The locking element, depending on the type and size of the valve, as well as the customer's requirements, can be made as a solid rigid wedge, a two-disc wedge, an elastic wedge and a two-disc wedge with a clip. Structurally, the valves are made full-bore.
